BLACK & WHITE SUNDAY: TRACES OF THE PAST Y3-08

BLACK & WHITE SUNDAY: TRACES OF THE PAST Y3-08

Paula at Lost in Translation presented us a challenge: This month you are invited to post in black and white anything that you see as belonging to the past (near or far), pretty or not so pretty.

Today I had the good fortune to go and visit the mystical caves of St. Beatus, next to the Thun’s lake (Switzerland) into the very heart of the mountain along over a kilometre of well-lit walkways, and discover stalactites and stalagmites that have been formed by nature over millions of years and I was taken this picture with my Android.

You are in Switzerland now? What a treat! This reminds me of Postojna cave in Slovenia. Very fitting subject for the theme, Paulo, and most original 🙂

That’s surprisingly beautiful in black and white. I use it very little but I do like to look at the results others achieve. 🙂 🙂
